Travelling from Pushkar through Ajmer and driving NH48 heading toward Jaipur is usually the most convenient and efficient route. One would probably take a drive from Jaipur to Dausa and then branch off onto smaller routes that would take one to Mehandipur Balaji. While most of the roads are smooth national highways, there can be stretches in bad condition and heavy traffic near cities like Jaipur.

By Private Car/Taxi – this is the most prominent and most convenient means of getting there. Pushkar Taxi Rental is the best option for a comfortable, flexible, and one can halt wherever one wants. Transportation for this trip is available from many travel agencies. Vehicles like SUV, Sedan, and whether it’s one way or round trip will set the cost.

By Bus – While there won’t be a lot of direct buses, there’s normally a connection. The most common route is by taking a bus from Pushkar to Ajmer and a further bus to Jaipur. You could take ordinary buses to Mehandipur Balaji or Dausa from Jaipur’s central bus stand. Best to inquire about bus routes and schedules in advance at the respective bus stops.

By Train – Pushkar and Mehandipur Balaji are not connected by rail. Ajmer Junction at around 15 to 20 kms away, is the nearest big railway station to Pushkar. The railway station to Mehandipur Balaji is Bandikui Junction, and that is about 35 to 40 kms from Ajmer.
